Women's Healing and Empowerment Network (www.whenetwork.com)was founded in America in 2008 as a response to the growing need for programmes and services to address the issues of domestic violence and sexual abuse in the faith community. It was founded by Dr. Mable Dunbar (Ph.D., L.P.C.). Dr Dunbar is the President of the Network and also works for the Upper Columbia Conference of SDAs as Women's Ministries Director. She founded the Network to provide healing and empowerment for individuals, families, churches, schools and other organisations through faith-based education, counselling, and healing centers. She has also co-authored 'No More Excuses' with her husband, Dr. Colin Dunbar, and has written 'The Truth About Us: How To Discover the Potential God Has Given you'.
